Surcharges stack: same day on a weekend is +40%. Minimum job $119. Intermediate sizes (⅙, ⅓, ⅜, ⅝, ⅔, ⅚, ⅞) exist in the booking flow if the truck lands between rows.

A handful of desks doesn't need a truckload price. Item pricing applies the same 8% fee and a volume discount once the count climbs: 4–7 items 10% off, 8–15 items 15%, 16 or more 20%.

Example: six small desks, six chairs and two filing cabinets — 14 items — is $966 at list, less 15% volume discount, plus the 8% fee: $887 all-in. The same suite by the truckload is likely a half truck at $420, so for most offices the load price wins; the booking flow shows both.

Every account job gets a written, binding quote from photos or a site visit before work starts. Four things the building will ask you about.
Reserve the freight elevator and confirm loading-dock hours. Most PBC and Broward towers want 24 hours' notice and a named contact.
Ask for the COI early. If management needs an insurance certificate on file, tell us at booking and it goes ahead of the truck.
Mark what stays. Painter's tape on anything that isn't leaving. Pull drives, shred paper, empty the drawers.
Badges, escorts, parking. Whether the crew needs a visitor badge or an escort, and where a 16-foot box truck can sit for an hour.

What office managers ask before they book.
How much does an office cleanout cost in Palm Beach County?
One-time office cleanouts are priced by the truckload, all-in with our 8% service fee: about $193 for an eighth of a truck, $301 for a quarter, $420 for a half, $528 for three-quarters and $625 for a full truck on a weekday with two or more days' notice. Same-day adds 25%, next-day 10%, weekends 15%. Business accounts use a separate flat rate card: $445 per quarter load, $795 per half, $995 per three-quarter and $1,195 per full load with disposal included up to two tons.
Can you work after hours or on a weekend?
Yes. Weekend pickups carry a 15% surcharge on one-time bookings; evening slots after the building's normal hours are arranged when you book. Tell us the loading-dock hours and whether the freight elevator needs a reservation so the crew shows up when the building will let them in.
Do you provide a certificate of insurance for our building?
Yes. Every crew on Umuve is a licensed, insured operator whose documents we verify before they can take jobs. If your property manager needs a certificate of insurance on file before the truck arrives, ask when you book and we'll send it ahead.
What happens to the furniture and electronics?
Furniture in usable condition goes to donation partners first where they'll accept it; the rest goes to a licensed transfer station where metals are separated for recycling. Computers, monitors and printers are handled through our electronics recycling service. We don't wipe drives — remove or destroy them before pickup, or keep them.
Do you shred documents?
No. We don't offer certified document destruction. Shred sensitive paper with a shredding vendor first; sealed boxes of non-sensitive paper ride out with the rest of the load as general junk.
