We'd rather tell you this than have you find out later. Miami-Dade, Broward, Palm Beach, Martin, St. Lucie, Indian River, and Brevard all run household drop-off programs that accept residential electronics at no charge. If you have a car, a free afternoon and a TV you can lift, use them.
You load it, drive it, unload it, during their hours. Great for a laptop and a box of cables. Less great for a 65-inch or a 120-lb console.
Some cities take bulk items on a schedule; most won't take TVs and computers at the curb at all because of the glass and the data. Check your city before you drag it out.

Why the tube TV costs more than the flat screen.
- 1Leaded glass. A CRT's funnel and neck glass carry several pounds of lead. It can't go in a regular waste stream, and the handful of facilities that take it charge per unit — that's the $10 fee, passed through at cost.
- 2Weight for its size. A 27-inch tube TV is 60–80 lb; a 32–36-inch console can top 100. That's a two-person, strap-and-dolly carry, especially down a staircase or through a lanai.
- 3Nobody else wants it. Thrift stores stopped taking them years ago and most bulk pickups refuse them. It's the item that sits in the garage for a decade.
Flat screens are the easy case: lighter, glass that's not leaded, and recyclers that accept them routinely. Projection TVs and old wooden console units price as tube TVs — they're the same job.

Every pickup has a $119 minimum; four or more items earn a 10% discount, eight or more 15%, sixteen or more 20%. Same-day adds 25%, next-day 10%, weekends 15%, then an 8% service fee on the subtotal.

Almost every single-item pickup lands on the $119 minimum, which is the honest way to say: the second and third items ride for free. An office clearing out twenty monitors and towers should text a photo to (844) 435-6005 — at that count the volume discount and a load price both come into play and we'll show you the cheaper one.
Your data is your job. Here's the five-minute version.
We haul. We don't wipe drives and we won't hand you a certificate of destruction — nobody should promise that at a pickup price. Do this before the truck comes and the machine leaves your house empty.
Pull the drive, keep it. Two to four screws on most towers; the drive is the metal brick the size of a paperback. Or run a full disk erase from the OS installer.
Sign out, then reset. Sign out of iCloud or your Microsoft/Google account first, then "Erase all content and settings" (Mac) or "Reset this PC → Remove everything" (Windows).
Turn off Find My / activation lock. Sign out of iCloud or Google, then factory reset. A locked phone is worthless to a recycler and still tied to you.
Reset them too. Office printers store scans; smart TVs store logins. Both have a factory-reset option in settings. Pull any SD card or USB stick.

We price per item: $89 for a flat-screen TV, $79 for a tube TV plus a $10 recycling fee, $59 for a computer, $35 for a printer, $45 for other electronics, then an 8% service fee. Every pickup has a $119 minimum, so a single TV lands at $119 — which is why it pays to add the printer and the old tower to the same trip. Why do tube TVs cost more to get rid of?
A CRT tube holds several pounds of leaded glass, so it can't go in the regular waste stream and the few facilities that accept it charge by the unit. Tube TVs are also heavy for their size — a 32-inch console can weigh over 100 pounds. We add a $10 tube-TV recycling fee on top of the $79 pickup price and carry it out from wherever it is.
Do you wipe the data on old computers?
No — we haul, we don't certify data destruction, and you shouldn't trust anyone who promises that at a junk-removal price. Before we arrive: sign out of your accounts, run a factory reset or full disk erase, or simply pull the hard drive and keep it (it's a couple of screws on most desktops). Phones and tablets: sign out of iCloud or Google, then factory reset.
Can't I just drop electronics off for free at the county?
Often, yes. Miami-Dade, Broward, Palm Beach, Martin, St. Lucie, Indian River, and Brevard all run household drop-off programs that take residential e-waste at no charge, and if you have a car, a free afternoon and a TV you can lift, that's the cheapest option. We're for the other cases: the 60-inch that won't fit in the trunk, the tube TV nobody can carry down the stairs, or a whole office of monitors and towers where the trip costs more than the pickup.
What actually happens to the electronics after pickup?
Working items in good condition are set aside for donation where a taker exists. Everything else goes to a licensed transfer station or e-waste recycler that accepts that item type — flat screens, computers and printers are routinely accepted; tube TVs go to a facility that handles leaded glass. We don't publish a recycling percentage because we can't verify one honestly; we can tell you nothing gets dumped in a regular dumpster.
What electronics won't you take?
Anything classed as hazardous waste: loose lithium batteries in bulk, damaged or swollen battery packs, mercury-containing equipment, and industrial gear with unknown contents.
