The standard mattress quote in South Florida is a low number on the phone and a "disposal surcharge" on the invoice. The transfer station's mattress fee is real — springs jam compactors and foam takes landfill space out of proportion to its weight — so we show it up front at $20 a piece instead of springing it at the curb.
Included
- ✓Carry-out from wherever the bed is — upstairs, condo hallway, garage

Good to know
- –Full bed set is the better deal — $149 for mattress, box spring and frame, and the set price already covers recycling. Priced separately that's $263 before fees.
- –Four or more items triggers a 10% volume discount on the whole load; eight or more, 15%.
- –Adjustable bases and massage beds weigh two or three times a normal frame — text a photo and we'll quote it exactly.
- –Bed bugs: tell us. We bring it out sealed and it goes straight to disposal. Please don't try to donate it.
- –Minimum job is $119. A bed frame on its own comes to $81, so it books at the minimum — add the mattress and you're already over it.

Curb, donate, or call. Here's how each really goes.
We'd rather you pick the right one than pick us for the wrong reason.
Put it on the curb
Most Miami-Dade, Broward, Palm Beach, Martin, St. Lucie, Indian River, and Brevard cities collect mattresses on a scheduled bulk day. The catch: the schedule, the wrapping rule and the wait vary by city and HOA, a lot of condo and apartment buildings don't allow it, and it means a mattress on the curb in the rain until the truck comes.
Give it away
Nearly every charity and thrift store in South Florida declines used mattresses for hygiene reasons, clean or not. Frames and headboards in good shape are a different story — those do get taken, and are worth listing.
Book a pickup
Pick a day, we text before we arrive, carry it out from the bedroom and haul it. Same-day if you need it, weekends if that's easier. The number on this page is the number on the receipt.
Twenty minutes, most of it on the stairs.
- 1ARRIVE
We text before we're at the door
You get a 30-minute heads-up. Clear a path from the bed to the door; put the dog somewhere.
- 2BAG
Anything questionable gets sealed first
Stains, moisture or bed bugs — it goes into a mattress bag in the bedroom, so nothing touches your hallway, elevator or the truck.
- 3CARRY
Out by hand, frame taken apart if needed
A queen is 70–100 lb and floppy; a king is more and won't turn a tight landing without two people. That's the part you're paying for.
- 4HAUL
Licensed facility, fee already paid
It goes to a transfer station that accepts mattresses; the recycling fee on your receipt is what they charge us. Metal frames are separated for scrap where facilities take them.
The number is the number.
Our price comes from the same engine that prices every job on app.goumuve.com, so what you see here is what you're charged. Removal price, the $20 recycling fee on mattresses and box springs, and our 8% service fee — then only how fast you need us and whether it's a weekend.
| What's going | Removal | Recycling fee | All-in with 8% fee |
|---|---|---|---|
| Mattress (twin to king) | $99 | $20 | $127 |
| Box spring | $89 | $20 | $119 (minimum applies) |
| Mattress + box spring | $188 | $40 | $243 |
| Bed frame / headboard | $75 | — | $119 (minimum applies) |
| Full bed set (mattress, box spring, frame) | $149 | included | $161 |
| Two full bed sets | $298 | included | $322 |
Weekday with two or more days' notice. Same-day adds 25% to the removal price, next-day 10%, weekends 15% — the recycling fee never changes. Four or more items earn 10% off the removal price, eight or more 15%, sixteen or more 20%. No job is under $119.
Four things that make it go fast.
Sheets and protector off. Keep the ones you want; anything you don't can go on the pile.
Clear the route. Rugs, laundry baskets, the chair by the door. A queen doesn't bend around a full hallway.
Elevator or loading dock? If your condo needs a reservation or a certificate of insurance, tell us when you book and we'll handle it.
Bed bugs, adjustable base, third floor walk-up. Put it in the booking notes so the right crew shows up the first time.

What people ask before they book.
How much does mattress disposal cost in Palm Beach County?
$127 all-in for a mattress of any size anywhere we serve, Miami-Dade to Brevard: $99 removal, a $20 recycling fee and our 8% service fee. A mattress and box spring together is $243. A full bed set (mattress, box spring and frame) is $161 because the set price already covers recycling. Same-day pickup adds 25%, next-day 10%, weekends 15%, and no job is under $119.
Why is there a recycling fee on mattresses?
Transfer stations in South Florida charge per mattress and box spring because springs jam compactors and the foam takes landfill space out of proportion to its weight. We pass that through at $20 per piece instead of hiding it in the base price. Bed frames and full bed sets don't carry it.
Can I just put my mattress on the curb?
In most Miami-Dade, Broward, Palm Beach, Martin, St. Lucie, Indian River, and Brevard cities you can, on a scheduled bulk-pickup day — but the rules, wait times and wrapping requirements vary by city and HOA, and some condo and apartment buildings don't allow it at all. If you'd rather not have a mattress on the curb in August for a week, or your building won't let you, we'll take it from the bedroom the same day.
Do you take mattresses with bed bugs?
Yes — tell us when you book. We bring it out sealed in a mattress bag so nothing rides along in the truck or your hallway, and it goes straight to disposal. Please don't try to donate or resell a mattress that has had bed bugs.
Can I donate my old mattress instead?
Rarely. Nearly every charity and thrift store in South Florida declines used mattresses for hygiene reasons, even clean ones. Bed frames and headboards in good shape are a different story and can often be donated or sold.
Do I need to carry it downstairs or outside first?
No. The price includes carry-out from wherever the bed is — upstairs bedroom, condo hallway, garage. Clear a path to the door and we do the rest. A queen mattress weighs 70–100 pounds and a king more; that's the part you're paying us for.
